Janis Joplin - She was always so honest and raw in her delivery of every song that she sang. Unfortunately, the others are a dim comparison at best.

Hey you forgot Faith Hill who did a country version of Janis Joplin's classic.

Pam is right . . . Janis Joplin . . . she was the original . . . some of the others are pretty good, but Janis was totally unlike anyone else.
