be very careful with formula, it can give them bloat. If it is a large breed 10 oz. 4 times a day, if it is a small breed like a pygmy or nigerian dwarf, then 3-4 oz 3x a day. Dilute the formuala with water a little more than it says. Sorry not much help i milk the mom and give the kids the milk.

Tkes, you keep asking and asking here about goats--GO TO A GOAT FORUM!!!!!

You need to talk to breeders and a goat bulletin board for information specific to the type of goat that you have.

Here's one place to start.
http://www.breedersworld.com/goat/

You ALSO need to talk to your vet--find one who does farm animals, they're up on goats and will be able to guide you through this.

The breeder told you what to do, you can verify it with the vet AND with other goat breeders who you can email. That's what the internet is good for--finding the specialists in the field very quickly.

You're either not happy with what others are telling you, or are not getting goat specific answers (very few people on here likely have goats) or are just not listening. Take charge of your questions and ask experts. You have a small goat, it'll eat several times a day, small amounts, and will sleep a lot and act like a regular young goat which means it'll be vocal. Ten ounces is a lot at one time. Babies feed several times a day, but NOT continually and not in huge amounts.

Please contact some experts and a vet. Listen to what they tell you and believe that they know what they're talking about.

OMG, you have posted like 4x's today. I gave you a acuurate schedule already and why does your baby goats age keep changing. Shes 7 days old then 8 then 10. Feed her as much as she will eat 4x's a day. Babies will not over eat! Aldults goats on acres of land will inhibit the overeating disease and even then there is a shot for it. Stop freaking out and feed your baby and love it.
