Well long story short im pregnant and I was wondering if i should give it up for adoption or keep i. Im only 16 and im 8 months pregnant and im having a boy. Should i give it up for adoption? or shall i keep it and if so what are some good unique boy names?

No i wasnt raped i was one of those stupid girls that fell forthe i love you and if you love me you wont care if i use protection crap and i ended up getting pregnant. I can provide for my son i dont have a problem in that areaa but im not for sure what is the better thing to do for him you know?

You should keep it. A child is a blessing. Everything is meant to be for a reason. Not good you are young but you aren't the 1st nor will you be the last.

Um, wow. I mean this sounds like a heavy burden. I don't want to be judgemental so I wont. If you want a strong life ahead of you and a secure future, then a baby is not the best thing to be putting your time into. You are still young and could probably go so far in life and if you keep the baby it would pull you down. I really dont think that you are financially or mentally ready to take on this responsibility, but it is your decision. But if you choose not to take it then I would not suggest getting into it's life either. Do what you feel is right.

Keeping him really depends on your situation and if you will be able to give him a good life. In most cases a 16 yo is not financially, or mentally ready to raise a child. Most 16yo can not even take care of themselves without help from a parent (rent, food, clothes, diapers, medical bills, etc). You can no longer think of yourself, but you have to think about what would be the best situation for the child. In my opinion, I think you should put him up for adoption. Perhaps there is someone you know of so that you may be able to be in your child's life after they have reached adulthood. I would like to praise you for not having had an abortion, there is too much of that and that is sad.

that depends. if your parents are supportive, by all means keep that precious child. i know it will be very hard for someone as young as you to have such a great responsibility. but think about this: you will hear many woman regretting later on why they had to put their child for adoption, and rarely will you hear them say, " i wish i didn't keep you. i should have put you up for adoption." see? your conscience will just kill you. if however your parents wont support at all, give your child up to someone you know - a couple from church perhaps or a distant relative. i dont really know your circumstances so i really cant give you my full opinion. you may tell me in detail if you want thru YM

My birth mother was almost 16 when she had me. I was adopted by her aunt. It was the best thing for all of us. My adopted mom gave me a wonderful life with opportunities my birth mom could not. My birth mom went on to get married (twice) and has 4 other kids by her husbands. My adopted mom lived a long life and lived with my husband and I and helped raise our kids while we worked full-time. She passed away a few years ago now and when she found out she was dying, she encouraged me to contact my birthmother and siblings and try to build some kind of relationship with them. I am glad I did, even though my birth mother is just "Shirley" to me, and not "Mom". No matter. Give your son the chance to have a full life -- you are still so young and have your own life ahead of you to live. Follow your heart.

Reality, this is your decision. You should ask yourself, "What is best for My baby?" Only you KNOW the answer.
STAND strong with your decision, whichever you choose, there's never an easy answer. Both have major consequences.
Be honest and true to yourself. You can fool alot of people but you can't fool yourself.

If my daughter gets pregnant at your age. I would help her to keep it. No way would I let her adopt him/her out. I say keep it do your best for your baby. Other wise I really think it will bother you the rest of your life wondering what might have been
