Well, they actualy are much alike. In ancient Greece slaves were treated much like plain objects. Especialy in Sparta they could just kill their slaves without answering to anybody about it. And just because they were fighting alot, they enslaved more and more people. At some point the Spartan citizens with full rights were something less than tree hundred(not the ones in the movie of course, what i am talking about happened much later). My point is that slaves were just given enough to barely survive, such as some bread and water and they didn't mean anything to anyone.
In ancient Rome, they were even called "res" which means "thing" or "object". If memory serves, in history class we learned that they were also treated like in Ancient Greece which of course means, excuse my expression, crappy. Therefore, sometimes slaves rebelled but they were always subdued once again. Therefore my answer to you is that i doesn't matter where you are, if you are in the ancient world and you are a slave, you are definitely getting screwed.

Excuse my grammar and syntax errors, if you find any.

there is not any assessment obtainable between historic Greece and Rome.historic Greece all started its Civilization around 2500 B.C. in the Cycladic Islands, from there to Crete and Santorini for the Minoan Civilization till its distruction around 1250 B.C..From there to the mainland Mycenaens and then to the city States (Classical) it fairly is common normally as historic Greece. The Greeks gave the Romans each and every thing religious and cultural. that they had in basic terms their military and the guy-ability to construct great construction-projects. understand that as quickly as we communicate approximately Rome we are conversing some massive area of Europe ,Africa and Asia, some very massive minds got here from there and have been given Roman Citizenship. The Romans themselves observed the certainty og Greek as a demonstration of lifestyle.
