I had a restraining order (injunction) against my aunt's husband because he threatened to harm my 4 year old daughter. 4 months later my aunt than tried to get one against me. It was dismissed out of courts after a hearing. Than she tried to get one against my husband 4 months later. Again it was dismissed. I filed a violation of injunction 2 or 3 months before the one that I had against her husband was to end. The judge verbally repremanded him and threatned to monitarily fine him if he violated it again. The injunction than ended (due to dates).

Well, now I recieve 2 legal advertisements in the mail stating that someone has filed and injuction against me and my husband (in thier county)... duh, them! I have not yet been served... I am guessing that will come any day.

So, my question is... can I sue them for harrassment? If so what paper's do I have to file?

I use to have custody of my aunts' kids... that is how this all began... she was jealous.

I LIVE IN CITRUS COUNTY FLORIDA

I suggest you call the firms that you are receiving the advertisements from. That type of advertisement is USUALLY against the state's Ethical Requirements for practicing attorneys. It is probably sent from the people you are having trouble with, and not the attorneys themselves. (Sadly, that's very common!)
Do not wait! Go hire an attorney NOW. Take copies of your original judgments with you, your injunction & the dismissed actions against you. Take ANYTHING you think MIGHT be important to the first meeting you have with the attorney. This includes the advertisements that you have received. (The custody papers for her children ARE important as well.)

Only a licensed attorney in the state of FL can give you proper legal advice. Go see one NOW.
