Personally I can't stand spiders!! They really freak me out!!!! But, I am glad that there is someone to represent the female population in the spider world!!!! Seems it is always guys that are into them!!!!!
Maybe the guys were afraid of them too and were not man enough to tell you.

It just depends on the guy. For instance, a spider bite almost killed me on a hiking trip when I was 10 (I wasn't allergic, I wasn't a sickly kid, nothing like that -- I just happened to be in the wrong woods at the wrong time with the wrong spider. =) Thus, a relationship with you and I, for example, would probably not work out... You seem perfectly lovely though, and I know for a fact that there are millions of guys out there who have not had traumatizing spider situations like myself and will be perfect happy with both you and your soon to be pet tarantula, so don't worry! =)

I'm mildly into spiders. When I was a kid in Britain I had a pet orb spider. An attractive female neighbour of ours is heavily into spiders. I think she's cute and sexy.

No Way! I think it is cool that you are interested in such unusual animals. You know I am interested in snakes and might be getting one soon! Who cares if people (boys) don't like you! You need to find someone that you love and loves you for who you are (not what pets you have).

Of course it's a turn off. We are biologically programmed through hundreds of thousands of years to avoid spiders, snakes, rats and other things. It's called the innate survival instinct.
