If I have 800mhz 4 GB ram and my motherboard & processor support 1066 mhz FSB, will the FSB run at 1066 or 800 mhz?

DONT ANSWER IF YOU DON'T KNOW.

I really hate it when people answer when they clearly don't understand what they are talking about. The FSB will run at 1066Mhz, and the RAM will run at 800Mhz. The FSB is quad pumped, while the RAM is only double pumped. This means the actual bus speed of the FSB is 266, while the RAM is 400, meaning the RAM is actually running faster. And as you probably know, it is okay to have the RAM at a faster bus speed than the FSB, but not the reverse. So in your situation, no problems.

this question doesn;t do plenty to show the respond - it in all fairness widely used. jointly because it includes average overall performance subject concerns, you ought to desire to be particular. somewhat sluggish? jointly as? How undesirable? working Crysis on a matching time as burning a DVD, and getting basically seventy 5 FPS? Upgraded how? From the bare information you furnish, it does not sound like an advance - it basically sounds such as to procure & assembled a clean pc and plugged an previous CPU & HD into it. unhappy to declare, yet even severe priced advancements won't unavoidably translate into extraordinarily greater effective average overall performance. Your HD must be overstuffed (above 80 5% entire potential), or you have have been given too plenty junk application put in. Do you make the main of various USB contraptions? I put in a USB card because of the fact I had all of my contraptions related to the equipped-in ports. After the set up, average overall performance substitute into plenty greater applicable. basically some concepts.

It will run at 800Mhz, and I think that will show your CPU speed lower than it is rated. Can't remember for sure.
