I have a 1995 chevy suburban and it has a front right wheel that is loose. we jacked it up and the tire/wheel moves up and down without moving the front suspension and it moves the brake caliper and disk up and down with it. we havent found any loose bolts and i was wondering if anyone else would know anything about this and how and what to tighten.

Wheel bearing failure You did not state if it is four wheel drive. 2wd the jamb nut has backed off inside the grease cap 4x4 the bearing hub assembly with lug studs needs to be replaced it also has the Anti Lock Brake sensor built onto it. New about $250 at the dealership... There are some cheep Mexican and China and Indonesian bearing hubs out there too. I think Chevy hub may be made in Mexico. If you have a jack and a couple jack stands good quality sockets torque wrench you can do this job.

this may well be any of a myriad of issues. one million. Unbalanced tire 2. Bent rim - probably from hitting something like a cut back or parking block 3. Worn ball joints, or struts or quite a few different themes. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, if it in basic terms started appearing this type without warning, you extra suitable than possibly have a tire with a broken belt. the wonderful ingredient to do is take it to a mechanic who's a front end alignment expert and allow him look at it. He (or she) might have the flexibility to tell what precisely is the topic or problems are.

check your ball joints upper and lower if wheel rocks up and down they are worn out do not drive because wheel can fall off it is cheap to replace 10-15$ apiece but need tool to do it and not of amateur's to do
