I try to smile all the time. It's kinda hard not to smile or laugh when one is resting on the couch and a 4yr. old Grand kid comes over, lifts up one eyelid, (right as you doze off) and says, "I love you Ma."

It takes a lot to make me smile. I just don't have a smiley face. People have asked me since I was a child"What's wrong, honey?" I could be happy inside, but when they said that..I wanted to hit them!! I do smile..just not all the time like some people. I think the worse thing is someone smiling at you when you're going thru tragedy or other bad times. Smiley faces are not always good. (That's how I feel anyway)There's a place in between smiling and frowning and I think that's what most people's faces should look like most of the time. Then, when something good happens...and you smile..people know you are happy. If something bad happens, you frown ..and people know you are disappointed or sad or angry etc. How else can you know people's emotions if they just "smile" all the time.?? Say something funny and I'll smile...just for you.

Always. My sweet neighbor likes to check on me because I have not been well lately. She rings the bell, I open the door and smile, because she has had problems too. Lost her little Yorkie about two months ago, followed by the loss of a brother.
That is something I need to remember - Love is what makes you smile when you're tired
Thanks.

I agree with Terri. No matter how tired you are, if you give those you love a smile-it's a precious gift.

if you have the joy of salvation from God, then even what situation or condition or circumstances you're in, smile in your face that truly comes from the heart is an indication that the peace of God and Lord Jesus is in you! Philippians 4:6-7.

My kids use to kid me about me smilling when I was laying down to go to sleep on my pillow. I guess I was so happy it was the end of a long day lol. What a sweet saying, "Out of the mouth of babes"
