Hey, i'm getting a new game system soon and i was wondering wether i should get the Xbox 360 or the Playstion 3. Please feel free to post which one you think i should get.

Alright well there are soooo many questions on this and you are going to get a lot of opinions but here is what I truly think you should go for man and please take my word. Alright well I have had my 360 for about 2 years or so. Microsoft and the xbox have a lot for games and games that are comming out soon than the PS3 does. The PS3 will have MGS3 and many other good games comming out but this christmas microsoft has the best line up for games ever in history (its a fact). Xbox has xbox live which kills PS3 in general. Has one of the biggest communitys you will ever come across and the most fun I have ever had with gaming. It is about $8 a month and you can play any online games with people and do not think that there are not that many people playing online. There are always open games for any game you can name.
Halo 3
Call of duty 4
Gears of War
Rainbow Six Vegas
Skate
Assassins Creed
And many many more are released/on their way.
Ps3 has some alright games out at the moment but most of there alright releases arnt going to be comming out for a while. You will have much more fun and have a lot longering time with your 360 than the PS3. Also the price makes it encredible. Do not listen to people that say the PS3 graphics own 360's its not true at all I have played both a lot and I definetly disagree.

And to that dumbass, it's not a fact microsoft has the biggest lineup of games coming out this christmas. No **** is coming out for the 360 after halo 3 because everyone who owns a 360 is a retarted halo fanboy.
Get a wii or a ps3.

Ok,the PS3 is better because.....
- the price is cheaper,you pay $1000 in add-ons for the xbox 360
-it has better graphics than the 360
-better a.i.
-it doesn't have a ******* 36% failure rate
-it looks better
-it has a motion sensing controller
-it has more exclusives
-it has 4 versions
-comes in three colors

it depends on alot of things you see... if you have extra money, just get the ps3 if you want a better, stronger, powerful console...
if your a halo fanboy like everybody else, i would get xbox360... One thing's for sure, the xbox360 wont last as much as the ps3... ps3 has expensive games i'll give you that, its all about picking the right games, there are tons of upcoming games exclusive for the ps3... and games that are available for the xbox as well... xbox just has more games because they started one year ahead of the ps3... but of course you knew that there were alot of scams with the console (defective units)... ps3 has the new dual shock 3, xbox's controller is basically the same as old one but only good thing is that, its wireless, what else is new? i dont have both consoles.. im enjoying my psp for now... wiis are for sissies... stupid console, need to buy every controller there is to play some of the other games, if you play wii, you probably play dance dance revolution games at home with the dance pad, that would mean, you like gay games... i know im offending some of ya'll but the cmon guys... wii? wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii...... sounds like kids stuff...

Xbox: Pros- lots of good games, lots of people to play with online, Halo 3
Cons- Have to pay to play online, breakdown alot
PS3: Pros- Free online, some good games coming soon, bluray, good graphics
Cons- not a lot of games yet, costs more than 360
I'd get the Ps3, Hope this helps

Hmm..I would rather get a nintendo wii to be honest. If you won't pick the Wii than I would rather get a Xbox 360
