question about the xbox 360 arcade CONSOLE?

I just have a few questions about the new console:
1. will it play dvds?
2. how much games can fit on a 256 mb memory card?
3. is the memory card enough for an average gamer?
4. do you need xbox live to play the arcade games that come with it on the disk?

2. not much, i woulndnt reccomend anybody getting a 360 without a harddrive, unless you play one game and thats it
3. no! especially if you want to d/l anything off XBL. thats why they came out with the 120GB Elite...
4. No, one XBL arcade game, Hexic, came with mine. you only need XBL if you want to play with people online, or d/l new games, demos, updates, expansion packs, etc...

2: not at all heck im hearing people with 20gig drives need 2 delete stuff for new downloads
3:if u mean someone that plays every once a month then yes it probably is but if u mean someone who plays once every week or everyday then hell no get a Hard drive
4:no you wont need to XBL is just to play online with people
