He was supposed to come over tonight. he called me a thousand times before I got home wanting to come over. He told me to call him when I left and to let him kknow when I got home. Now it after 7 and I haven't even heard from him!

Not all men are that way. You need to find out why he didn't show. Maybe he has a good reason.

You need to do a LOT more dating of different types of guys. All men are different. If you think they are all the same, it's probably because you tend to accept dates with basically the same type of guy.
Would you be turned off by a guy who was considerate most of the time?
P.S. He called you a thousand times? You called him a thousand times? Sounds to me like he's probably all talked out!

And well it's also a generalization....
Things do come up in peoples lives that aren't planned. So stop being whiney and just wait for him to call.

stop at the bar, help a nice lady pump gas at the station, hang out a bit longer picking up something at the supermarket because there is a braless chick in aisle 7.

well that the way men are but remeber they inly use the left side of their brain so i think this as alot to do with it as we can use both sides of our brain yes this is true
