My families Buick Century 2003 has an electrical problem. I can not read the mileage meter. Even when the sun is shining on it all I see is the 888... of the LEDs.

I know this is not a cheap repair. Should I bring it to the dealer or the garage where I trust the mechanics?

Why or why not.

If you have a repairman that you trust, then stick with him. He will be able to diagnose it in 5 minutes. He's probably seen the same problem a dozen times already and knows how to fix it.

The Carfax grew to become into sparkling, so the broker did no longer fail to show any innovations. What makes you think of we are all hoked into some grasp workstation that tells us a vehicle's entire DNA? "I advised him i grew to become into unlikely to take this vehicle due the the certainty that it have been in a twist of destiny"? You already did. Y ou signed a settlement. You very own a vehicle that has been in an twist of destiny. you obtain a vehicle which you appeared at, drove, inspected and ordinary as provided. so which you will the two get the upkeep accomplished precise, or stay with it as you have it. dont ever take a car to a dealer unless it is under warranty. They are there to make more money off you and they will have inflated charges. Beware of independent mechanics also.

You NEED to know the mileage that much because...Why?

If you want to spend that much money for an "inconvevience", maybe it's time to buy a new car.
