I give up when I feel I have hit the iron wall. More efforts will hurt my head only.

I can still do it when I feel the wall is going to crumble soon...

It is basically about perceptions based on experience...

i give up whenever a game i play is over for the hundredth times.
i say i can still do it whenever i find a hope for that stuff i gave up.
for example i can't install the sims 2 university! can you help me? (lol, hav a nice day!)

i give up when i deal with ignorant people, like christians...its just not worth the effort when they are so set in their ways, even if they are wrong....its a disease on mankind to be that ignorant, especially in my profession. I heard a great quote by one of the smartest people i know, "i would never die for anything because i might be wrong." you could learn something from that bible humpers

when I try several times, too many times to do what I want but there's no hope I naturally give up!

when I fall once or twice I say: "I can still do it!"

It depends on what it is. I'm realistic, so I usually know when I should throw in the towel, but to give up on something I know I can do, that would be a never.

I usually quite wasting time trying to do a thing when it becomes obvious that everybody else involved have other plans.
Then I just let my views be known and wait for reality to hit.

When I am arguing/debating with someone who comes to their conclusions based COMPLETELY on emotion rather than rationality, I give up. Otherwise, I generally never give up.

i gave up a long time ago saying "i give up" and i know i will always say "i can still do it" until my last breathe. ^_^
