We just saw "Across the Universe" in the theatre. It's set in the U.S. in the mid-60's and is full of live performances of Beatles songs. It then moves into the early days of the Vietnam War protests. It is a fabulous movie, but also painful in parts. Yahoo users gave it B+/A's. Critics are giving it 3 to 4 stars. If you're roughly 55+, it should really hit home. I'm older than that, but I think early to mid-50's might remember the times depending on where you lived. EDIT: After reading the other answers, I came back. Loved the Harry Potter books and movies/the Bourne movie/"3:10 To Yuma." I found "The Queen" to be especially good. For Americans, "The Queen" answered some questions about the royal family's reactions to Princess Dinah's death that made a lot of sense, particularly why the flag was not flown at half-staff over Buckingham Palace. My British wife explained it in part at the time, but I didn't know even upon the death of the father of Queen Elizabeth II, the flag wasn't flown at half-staff. And--to Denie-I saw "Perfume", too. Didn't dislike it, but it sure was puzzling. The book is better.

I ought to declare, on the way living house after on the grounds that action picture on that substantial reveal, we've been fairly much speechless. Last movie in the theater: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I enjoyed it. I'm afraid the kids will be too old to finish the series, though. Daniel Radcliffe already seems too old.

Last movie at home: Remember the Titans
very good

The last movie I saw in a theatre, I assume that's what you
mean, was "3:10 to Yuma". Good old fashioned western.
Good case, suspenseful and reminded me of the good old
days of the western.

The one in a theatre I saw before that was "The Queen" with
Helen Mirren. Very good.

In the theater the lastest Shrek movie with about 11 grandchildren in tow. At home on cable a silly fantasy called Lady of the Water. I like fantasy but it was silly. On DVD Bridge to Terabithia with a herd of grandchildren.

I saw the shooter on DVD. It was really good.

I have not seen a movie in a theater since last fall.

I rent almost every new DVD and then can't remember their names. LOL. I love movies.
I enjoy the ones for children. Like "Bridge to Terabitha" so good.

There was another good one "Premonition" with Sandra Bullock. Really interesting.

I just loved "The Notebook" with James Garner. Another movie that treats seniors as positive influences rather than something to be laughed at.

"Second Hand Lions" and it's a beautiful movie. In fact, now one of my all-time favorites.

It's one of those movies that involves two Uncles raising a young boy that's just dumped upon them by a Mother that has her own interests at heart.

AND, it's a great image of Seniors. If you have the opportunity, and have not seen it yet, get it. You'll really enjoy it.

At the movie theater the last was Hairspray. It was humorous and delightful.

The last DVD was Wild Hogs. I was disappointed.

The last movie on TV was Unbreakable for third time and that is self explanatory
