I just installed Windows Vista and my computer is VERY slow. I found this folder that says "windows.old" and i noticed that it's got all my files from my previous version of windows. Should I delete that file?

vista runs slower than xp on any given machine and needs faster hardware to make up for it .. true story ..

Deleting windows.old is not going to solve your 'slow' problem. Vista needs an absolute minimum of 800Mb to run so if your memory is less than 1.5Gb you will run slow. You may need to upgrade your RAM.
