alcohol is a "downer" type of drug, so pretty much all alcohol will get you sleepy if thats how you respond to it. When I drink, I don't get sleepy at all, it just depends on how your body responds to it.

I'm sure you're going to get lots of advice from respondents who can suggest a favorite drink, but there's one thing that no one can help you with - and that is that all alcohol (and any "drink" that contains alcohol) is from the family of central nervous system depressants. Alcohol makes you sleepy because alcohol is a sedative drug.
Like other sedative drugs, alcohol reduces the activity in the brain and the CNS - that's why it slows reaction times.
The notion of alcohol as a depressant drug goes against most people's intuitive sense of how the drug works, but that's because the slowed brain activity also has the effect of lessening inhibitions and relieving tension. For most of us, that translates to increased sociability and less self-consciousness.
So there you go - you can mix up all kinds of alcoholic drinks that taste good - you can drink beverages that are high in alcohol, low in alcohol, or anywhere in between. What you can't change is the sleepy feeling that's going to get you, one way or another - that's why alcohol is classified as a sedative or a depressant, because of the slooooooowing effect that alcohol has on the body and the brain.

Champagne (not the cheap stuff). Its has bubbles. If not, then try something with red bull in it. Like Red bull & guiness. Or red bull and coke. I was going to say bailey's but that is a naughty drink. It makes you chilled and sleepy. Try liquor coffee. Like Irish coffee or Baileys coffee. The coffee gives you a kick. It feels like a bedtime drink but I'm always up for partying after a few cups. Lol weird I know!

I can't imagine anything -- alcohol is a depressant, not a stimulant.
People think it elevates one's energy level, but that's not true. What happens is that it lowers inhibitions, so people find it easier to dance and carouse.
