my dad and i USED to play baseball together all the time. then he bought buildings that he wanted to flip (flip this house) hes ALWAYS there so last sunday i wrote him a note letting him know and then he played with me. (it had been a month since we played) now he wont play again too busy there and im ALWAYS outside by myself trying to play baseball. he wanted me to come to the house hes flipping and it dissapointed him but i refuse. its taking away from time with me. (not being selfish) and he says no one taught me these things and i feel the same he has not taught me baseball stuff at all. i learn from HS players, watching the yankees and Y! answerers. its really upsetting to play baseball 6 days out of a week by yourself. and when i ask my dad questions if im in a situation who should i throw to? he'll like ignore me so ill google it. (i play second base) he wont help me and i feel left out can anyone help me deal with this???

this man needs to know he is missing being with his child.... make a copy of the question you left here and leave it where he can see it........ some day you will be grown and gone and he will be sorry he didnt pay more attention to you ( tho you do need to realize he needs to work ) just not ALL the time

You need to tell him how you feel. You also need to realize that what he is doing also means a lot to him, just as you also mean a lot to him. You need to spend time with him and take an interest in the stuff that he is doing. And while you are with him, talk baseball. My dad was diagnosed with cancer when I was 15 and died when I was 16...enjoy the time you have with your father at this age in your life. No matter what it is that you are doing. But do tell him how you feel and maybe he can find some time to teach you baseball.

how old are you make some friends play with them. And yes your dad is just probaly trying to make enough money so he can buy you stuff. Pick out a day for him and you to just spend the whole day playing baseball.

that is form of confusing to respond to yet i'm going to tell you the way i might do it. a million. i discover that ordinary conversations are the ultimate thank you to get close, shaggy dog tale with him, then as quickly as you adult males are close sufficient start to tease him approximately specific stuff like if he journeys over to illustrate. purely consult from him, yet for the affection of god do no longer nag, or brag :L 2. in maximum situations bess, except he's extremely shy. if he's shy, call his call while he walks previous, ask how he is going, in uncomplicated terms a short candy convo. 3.If he say's he likes you, genuinely do no longer freak out, smile returned and say i admire you to. then he will probable ask to fulfill up with you or ask to your quantity. otherwise tell hime which you will desire to capture up some time. do no longer carry your breath in this going on in the present day away tho. 4. and that i will't extremely answer this one because of the fact i don't know the way you tousled. if it became something extremely undesirable, purely apologise or say you have been out of line IF he mentions it. if he in no way speaks of it, do no longer hassle approximately it. desire i've got helped, good success… :P

My suggestion is get into a Fall League and practice with your team mates and your coach and assistants or Get with your regular season team mates (You said you play 2nd base) and go with them to a park and practice. I practice with my team year round of course not all players can make it all the time. Even in cold weather you can practice inside in a Gym or a National Guard Armory in their Gym. Also you can go to Batting cages and swing at pitches!!!!!

"Dad,
Money comes and goes.
I'm young once.
I do appreciate all that you do for me, but sometimes I just want time for you and me together. I wouldn't ask if it wasn't so important to me, and it really doesn't seem to be asking so much.
I'm younger so I get to pick first. I wanna play catch. You get to pick what we do next time, and I promise I won't complain.
Neither of us wants to end up like "The Cat's In The Cradle" or hoping for a "Field Of Dreams". C'mon, Dad. Grab your glove. It's ME asking this.
Your loving daughter,
(or cutesy personal nickname if appropriate)"

Try and set up a schedule with him. You can tell him that you will go see his houses every Sat. and spend time with him there if he plays with you every Sunday for a few hours. He might respond if it's set on a calendar.
