plans,the drug people say that this is the law now,and i think its a form of harrassment to senior citizens who do not want two plans! one big drug company is penalising my 94 year old father for somethng he knows nothing about! hes recovering from brain surgery as well as alheimers disease.,i dont think this is fair treatment.my parents have a good supplementary plan as well as aarp+medicare.

I would find a friendly local pharmacist that is willing to assist you and your parents. They are the ones that know the plans inside and out since they are processing the prescription claims all day long. If there is a way to get your fathers medications at a reduced cost, that nice pharmacist will know.

Many seniors are going without Rx plans and paying cash for medications from Canada. At least they can get whatever drugs they want and aren't being forced to substitute one for another due to what's "allowed" by some stupid plan.
