Red Sox fans-- they are loud, obnoxious, and what makes them the most irritating is that they are usually well informed and have a good intelligent argument. I'd rather deal with a Yankees fan, whose argument many times consists of "Your team sux"

For baseball, I would say Yankee fans. I'm not saying this because I'm a Sox fan (well.. maybe a little..!). But EVERY argument they bring up the past. "WE HAVE 26 RINGS BLAH BLAH BLAH WE'RE BETTER BLAH BLAH". It's so irrelevent to half the arguments.
No other fans do that!
Example- Boston Celtics have 16 rings- by far the most in the NBA- and no Celtics fan proclaims they are the best just because of that, or brings that up rarely...
Also, they trash their fans. For instance, TODAY. Blaming A-Rod. Sure, everyone else can make fun of A-Rod, but the fans shouldn't bash him like that. He's THEIR player, and he's half the reason they are in the play offs.
