Propanol is burned in air
is propanol C3H8O2? if it is, then is it C3H8O2+O2-----> C3H8O5?

There is no net ionic equation. Propanol is C3H8O. The equation is:

2C3H8O + 9O2 ===>6CO2 + 8H2O
