This sounds weird but I've got a young black bear curled up in my house. I left the back door open while I was doing some work in the garage and when I came back the cat food was eaten, the cat food bag dumped out all over the place. I went looking around for the culprit, thinking it was a neighbors dog, and found this guy curled up in a corer of the bed room.
Amimal control says to leave him alone, that he'll wake up and leave tonight. Well all I can say is ...... Happy Saturday, it's never dull around here.

Wow a real live teddy bear to cuddly up to, you are so lucky!
Don't chuck your clothes on his when you go to bed though, they may whiff a bit when you get up!
Don't forget to leave the door open so he can find his way out in the night, or else you'll have one pisssed off bear - not good!

I love it. We had the same problem with a mountain lion 3 years ago. Yes he'll leave when it's dark, just don't go messing with him or he'll freak out and make his own exit, usually through a window. Your cat or cats will be fine, they're not really on a bears menu. Just keep any dogs out of your house.

I love the bears! I'd take your cat out until he leaves. You don't want him to get scared in your house they can make a major mess. Take some pics with a telephoto! There's something that doesn't happen every day.
