more complete and beautiful where there the MAN of a family goes out to work and the Wife looks after "the home"?

I'm not saying the families where women work too, aren't beautiful and complete but there where man works looks MORE elegant. Isn't it?

AS a stay at home mom and one who's glad that she was able to do so and my mom who never worked outside of the home either would totally disagree with you. ANY family is beautiful and if's the man staying home to take care of the family as his wife works is beautiful also. A family where both the parents work is also beautiful to, it's not the mother staying home that makes the family beautiful is the love and the amount of attention that the children gets that amounts to the beauty of the family!!! How many times have we heard about families where the mother doesn't work out side of the home but doesn't spend her time with the children either that the children were being raised by nanny's or housekeepers an I'm not only talking about the really rich either, There are plenty of homes where the mother doesn't work out side of the house but she does not spend her time with her family either. That is what says how beautiful the family is how much the children feel loved and cared for.

It's your perspective. Beauty is consistuted by familiarity. I've read that the most beautiful people we know of are that due to the fact that they represent an average mean of all the faces there are. Small noses and big eyes are appealing, and symmetry is admirable. I'm sure the familiarity of the idea makes it all the more appealing, not to mention of it as an ideal situation for any family to be in.

It depends on your standards of elegance and beauty. That one was very popular in the 1950s, so maybe it's coming around again.

If the sack dress can make a comeback in Milan, I guess restrictive roles based on gender lines can reappear here.

Can't say I believe it's the very height of complete and beautiful.

I don't know why you chose those adjectives, I would replace them with "traditional", however, families are not all a two parent home, nor are they even single bread-winner families. Things cost, families cost, jobs are not paying enough, life is not what it looks like in the pretty picture anymore.

Ever seen that show called "How Clean is Your House" ?
Kim and Aggie, the two cleaning ladies, boy is their house ever dirty, never cleaned for 15 years, and one 's job was a garbage man and his house looked like a garbage dump, too.
The cleaning ladies will be after you!!!!
Or the other called Neat and Mission Organization, and Selling Your House.
