Bush has spent more than $350 Billion USD? Shouldn't we just have bought the country kicked everyone out and put another star on the flag?

Really though....
I just read in Time Mag. that the amount of money we spend every minute in Iraq, which was in the upper millions, we could provide health care to over 400,000 American children.
What a waste of our American tax payers dollars.
I really wish we could vote for how our taxes are allocated as well, at least 50% of our own taxes should be up to us, the people that earned it, to decide how our Govt should spend it. Some people like the war, some people like healthcare, some like education, and some like border security.
This would feel more like a free country than what we're living in right now.

Hey, Iraq for Iraquis. We should help as long as it is wanted; otherwise, stay out. You all should read the book, "The Ugly American".
By the way, it is NOT for the oil; that entire region furnishes only 10% of our oil needs.

They said the Saddam would have peacefully abdicated for ONE Billion. Hell, you couldn't even get Bill Gates excited over that much money?
Besides, they all buy elections don't they. 100 million to be President?

yes its like the biggest waste of all time.. they only produced 20 billion per year in oil... we have wasted 100 years worth of Iraqs total output,, its insane......
