Arcsin = SinInverse. Arcsin (0) = 0, Arcsin ( 1/2) = pi/6

On your calculator: (1/2) x (sinInverse (3/2)pi)

You sould get: (1/2) x (-1) = -1/2

First of all, the word is pi NOT pie.

pi is a number; pie is something we eat.

3/2(pi) can be written 3pi/2.

Now, sin^-1 (3pi/2) = -90

1/2 times -90 = -45
