It's very good. A very smooth ride. The first drop is killer! Definately a 10!

Griffon/Busch Gardens was the one coaster/park I was looking foward to the most during my trip in August. I had always wanted to ride a "dive coaster" and for years I wished something like Oblivion(first dive machine, Alton Towers) would be built in the United States. This year, my wish finally came true; I was finally going to get to ride a dive coaster, which would be Griffon!
Griffon makes my top ten easily. I found myself using up all of my film while in line; the queue winds under the ride and one can get several good views of the drop. That just made me want to ride it even more.
The view from the top is incredible. I rode several times for the view alone. Griffon is floorless so you can see the track, or the ground way below you if you are seated in the outer seats. If you are lucky enough to be seated in the outer seats there will be nothing above or below you. Once you have reached the top of the lift hill, you take a turn towards the drop, and you come to a complete stop. You will get a couple seconds of "hang time" before you drop. Lots of fun-I recommend it!

I'd Give it 6/10. It's not bad but El Toro is one of those true rollercoasters.
