Not all liberals feel that way. It's just the far lefties that sympathize with Ahmadminejad and say that "he deserves to be listened to so we can understand where he's coming from then try to make the world a more peaceful, coexisting place."

I scoff at their views! I believe the far left women just want to make out with him (j/k).

When did it become "uncool and 'fascist'" to love your country? Apparently, the far left set that trend amongst themselves a long time ago when the Clinton administration decided not to enter Rwanda and resolve its horrid humanitarian and civil and human rights crises. That tells me that they didn't believe America was morally just enough to care about the atrocities that, while not directly affecting us, were resulting in the slaughter of a million people in Africa. (Mind you, I'm more of a libertarian, but I sway from them in military affairs.) But, Obama-Osama has recently stopped wearing the American flag lapel pin on his clothing supposedly as a demonstration of "patriotism." If either nut from Chicago (O-O or Shrillary) elected, I might as well move to France since they actually have semi-conservative leadership now.

Sarah you should verify lower back. this era in time is probable the worst to be a school professor. human beings are transforming into sacked left and real simply by funds cuts at federal investment institutes. that's no longer purely happening on the little colleges the two. this is all a thank you to the real. i know a lot of people out of artwork because of this administration's budgeting and next conflict on examine and progression. besides, my answer to this question is probable simply by fact coaching makes human beings question their atmosphere. That ends up in insurrection in case you p.o. adequate human beings. All governments worry that so, the undesirable governments desire to maintain human beings dumb. Little do they know they only make their usa the beyotch of the different usa around them that has the capacity to overhaul them in economics, technological information, medicine, etc.

I don't know, I am sorry you feel you are uncool and a fascist. Many people who are not uncool and fascist love this country.
I agree with you though, George Bush does not kill gay people.
Know I am a liberal and I wore a nuke Iran button back in the time the nuts took over that country and grabbed our embassy. By the way, the President of Iran is just in denial that there are no gays over in his country.
Have a nice day, and good luck with your problems.

Liberals oppose radical conservatives like Ahmadinejad and President Bush!

We just don't think that Iran is any more of a threat to the United States than Iraq was.

If the U.S. wasn't meddling in the affairs of the Middle Eastern countries for the past 60+ years we wouldn't be facing the problems we have now!

The premise of this question involves a rather huge assumption that so-called liberals do in fact "like" the president of Iran. What is the basis of this assumption? Likewise concerning the notion that they "despise" their own country and its president (although, you might be onto something with the president thing). I am a "liberal" and have no particular fondness for the president of Iran, and I am extremely happy/proud to be Canadian. Of course, I can only speak for myself in that regard... I would still argue that you're making a significant assumption in the framing of the question itself.

I haven't heard of any surveys about the liberals liking the President of Iran.

It isn't uncool or fascist to love your country.

Liberals also love their country and they scrutinize it, which is an American tradition. Just because you dislike or oppose the President does not mean that you don't love your country.

Personally, I despise Bush. Maybe gay people are the only ones he doesn't kill. He has killed many young Americans and 81,000 Iraqi women and children. I hate that.

He also supports all the big corporations that are stealing our country blind. He has racked up billions of dollars in National Debt. As an American that loves her country, I HAVE to oppose these kinds of behavior. Just because you choose to hide your head in the sand, does not mean you love your country more.

They swoon over anyone who hates GWB as much as they do. Their fury at getting beaten in the last two presidential contests has unhinged the whole party to the point of self destruction.

Because we know how to read and understand that the "President" of Iran is a figurehead with no real power - his antics and speachifying keep attention off those with real power in Iran, just the way they like it.

He's also a very funny guy - in a stupidly dangerous kind of way - just like those people promoting Jacka$$ stunts.
