0-Rod is a post-season choker as much as I do? Why would a team want to pay 25-30 million per season to this guy if he just chokes in the post-season. He has been a joke his entire career in the post-season. In his last 14 post-season games, O-Rod is batting a horrible .085 and 4-47. What a joke. He certainly isn't Reggie Jackson who was Mr. October. The Yankees pay the big money so you can man-up in October. O-Rod is a joke in October. Do you think he is still worth the 25-30 million over 8 years that he is seeking, even though he sucks in the post-season? I don't. Sure, he puts up monster numbers from April-Sept, but it is October that counts the most. And A-Rod goes to O-Rod as soon as the calender changes from Sept 30th to Oct. 1st. Am I wrong?

Despite your illogical spew of hatred, A-Rod remains the best in the game. He has averaged 44 home runs and 128 RBIs per year in his career. Granted, he has trouble in the post season but without him the Yankees would be watching the playoffs at home. He is the one who got them there. The Yankees are batting .121 as a team, so there is plenty of blame to go around, especially with the horrendous bullpen. But give me a player who hits 54 home runs and drives in 156 and I'll take him any time. And, I know you can't find another player on YOUR team who has done that.

A-Rod can play under pressure. The games he's happened to struggle in so far though are in the playoffs. He like Barry Bonds can get over it. And when's he's choke so have plenty of over yankee all-stars. And it's hard to attack him this time around after nasty pitching from Carmona and decent pitching from Sabathia.

You are correct sir. But it's fun to bash A-Rod. I think the Yankees will eventually overcome A-Rod's shortcomings and win a WS and nobody will pour champagne on the loser that will be riding the Yankee coattails.

Check his entire career post-season stats. He has had some great series even though his team has never won it all.
To say that he always chokes in the post-season is lazy research or a lie.
Either way, it is incorrect.

He needs to stop listening to all the pople continually insulting him and get his head in there.

It annoys me when people bash A-Rod because he's the highest paid baseball player, well he earns his salary. 54 homeruns and 156 rbi's not good enough for you? Without him, they wouldn't it have made it to the playoffs.

That is when it counts. A-Rod might not be back in NY next year.
