Sometimes. It's one of my go-to colors for making a good first impression. But sometimes, it's just not appropriate---I wouldn't wear red to a funeral, to a wedding, and maybe not to a job interview with a very conservative company (maybe for that I would use red as an accent color--scarf, jewelry, purse/shoes, etc.)
I also had someone tell me to wear my most expensive/best-fitting lingerie under my outfit when I want to feel confident. Interesting twist on the idea of picturing others in their underwear/naked to get over stage fright??!

Definaltely. I got a very gorgeous red homecoming dress. Because for my first homecoming, I want to feel confident and look great. I felt very confident in the red dress and I was walking around at Penny's in the mall and I had numerous compliments. Red makes me feel very confident.

i like red color and it suits me good... that could be a reason for self confidence, but if you don't like any color especially red, that could make you a bit nervous...so be careful with red :)

i believe the color red makes you stand out.i wear red all the time because it is MY color .a color will not make you feel more confident its all in YOUR attitude.
