Amazing was it not the no.5 team to us of all colleges I thought this was going to be another fighting illini year where we fight just to win a game or come close. As opposed to the last few seasons this season has been a definate turn around for us what do you all think? How do you think the Illini are going to end it?
I think our only loss will be that loss to Mizzou.

I'm now a believer. That beating of Wisconsin was not an upset. Illinois was the better, more physical team. I have been cautious in my optimism, but I now think that Zook is a miracle worker. He's twice the coach Ron Turner will ever be. This win is HUGE for the Illini...........Go Illini !

Mendenhall is a beast! The Big 10 is getting more and more interesting as the season progresses. For a second there, I thought they might be collapsing like last year after taking such a substantial lead but that running game was unstoppable. What a great story it would make if the Illini take the Big 10 title!

I'm so glad we finally got rid of Ron Turner. Too bad the Bears hired the bum.
The Illini still have Michigan and Ohio State to deal with, so it won't be easy. But if they can keep it up through the end of the season they've got as good a shot as anybody to take the Big Ten title.

hey not to kill your buzz, but the ILLINI WERE THE FAVORITES IN THIS GAME. I know people get caught up in the rankings and what not, but the people who know were picking Illinois.
Great win though. The defense looked good and the offense looked great. What happened in that Mizzou game anyway???

Yep, i watched it.
It's GR8 to see Illini football on the rise.
They may lose another game, but they'll be bowling come December.

I think that Illinois is a formidable team this year. Their offense and defense are both strong....
How impressive is Mendenhall?! As long as Williams (QB) calms down a bit and stops trying to be a cowboy, he will stay healthy and be a great asset to the team.
Uh, hold the phone, there partner! Only loss will be to Mizzou? Did you fail to see who you play on November 10th?...ON THE ROAD?
