(NOTE: I've never used the Mighty Mouse before, wired or otherwise, so I'm speaking from general experience)
It depends on what you are going to use it for. For a laptop, the wireless is probably better, since it's more portable. However, for a desktop, the wired is usually more accurate, and is probably cheaper. It's just not as portable. Also, the wireless is more aerodynamic. Not that it matters for a mouse.
My 2 cents.

Wireless is less accurate and sucks up batteries. For end-users only.
The cheaper solution, the wired, is more accurate, has a faster reaction time, and does not run on batteries.
Both have new right-click functions.
I recommend the wireless for the laptop road warrior. You need a good surface.

Hi. Never used one but I much prefer wireless mice. No danged cable. I use a Kensington laser mouse, very accurate and has an on/off switch.

I even have the wirless amazing mouse and prefer it. this is the superb mouse I even have had. for people who say the scroll ball gets grimy and prevents working, only run an alchol swab on it while it does. it is going to clean it real up. As for the keyboard, i exploit my macbook lots of the time, so i only type on this is keyboard. i exploit a consultant keyboard and mouse with my iMac G3, so i do no longer know related to the recent keyboard. The iMacs at the instant are transport with a under pressure out keyboard the dimensions of the on the spot, and prefer the on the spot it does no longer have USB ports in-built, only so which you recognize.
