i was cleaning the bathrooms and when i reached my toilet, i put in comet(the germ killing powder for tilets) and when i went to turn the knob, no water cam out....you know whenyou trun the toilret knob, water comes down form the sides, well no water cam down,. plzz help.
i donr thkn the chain is broken, it looks fine, i think its the amount of water in the tank... how much water is supposed to be in it. my toilet has water below the cicle thing

The water level should be 1/2" to 3/4" below the overflow tube.

Your not supposed to turn off the water when you clean the toilet, but when you do the water does'nt automatically come out. Just flush and the water will fill again.
