i have a 1999 pontiac grand am,i was driving and all of a sudden my engine died.then when i started it back up the engine misses very bad and the engine is vibrating bad,and it wont go over 25 miles per hour.if it goes to 25 or 30 mph then engine dies again. can this just be a bad plug or a moter mount.can someone help me.thanks .

You can take car to an auto shop and ask for diagnostic and estimate without charge. Just tell them up front what you want.

Did you check the wires to your battery? Are you sure your transmission fluid is full? Make sure you check all your fluids before taking to a mechanic. You might also just need a new gas filter. You could also try putting STP Gas Treatment in your tank next time you fill up. You might also check under your car to see if you're leaking water, as it might be your waterpump. Hope these few suggestions help.

There could be SOOO many things that could have gone wrong.
It's an engine misfire of some sorts.
