I have a 97 Subaru Legacy GT, I need a new paint job, I just want some sort of way to see what kind of paint would look best on my car.

think of what you would be happy with long term. A flashy paint job is good for a short time, then it becomes regular. I myself would think pearl white with a light blue tint underneath. In the sun, it looks white<< or blue>> which is it???

Painted a few over the years and it seems like the original colour always looks the best. And like Bobweb said you have to get into more detail

Just remember when you change colors the price to paint the vehicle really increases.

If you paint it any color other than something similar to what you have, all the interior paint under the hood and trunk and along the interior door openings and sills won't match anymore. http://www.maaco.com

go for the rare and stand out paint... like most of cars out there are black, silver, white... so try to go for something you like or that will make you stand out most...
