Still trying to figure out what was going on with my ex-husband. Before we got married he was captain of the bed. Right after we got married he became captain nap-alot and would get really grossed out if I flirted or tried to get frisky with him. It still bothers me. What happened?

Well he slept a lot before we got married. He wasn't over weight, just a little beer gut action. It was like an on/off switch. Before marriage he was ON ofter the "I do" he shut OFF. Psychological?

I had a similar experience with an ex-boyfriend in his mid-40s. He lost all physical interest in me, and around the same time, confessed to me that he'd been sexually abused as a boy, and severely physically abused. He looked grossed out when I even tried to kiss him and would pull away. Maybe some issue like that for your ex-husband?

It can be stress related as well but a low testosterone level will not give him a healthy sex drive. Have the Dr check his blood. Colors.

Doesn't make sense to me. At 35 most men are ready to go, and when someone came on to them they would not think it was a bad thing.

He may have been suffering from a medical problem, and most men refuse to see a doctor about anything, let alone a sexual problem.

It was not you, if he was active and after marriage he lost interest and slept alot it has to be a physical situation.

A simple blood test by your family (ex) Dr. will determine his testosterone level. There is a prescription topical medicine (Androgel) to bring the level back to normal it it's low. The problem in my opinion usually is that men don't think they have a problem. And that's a shame!

At 35 a man should still be near his sexual peak, and it is definitely not normal to lose his sex drive. There could be any number of reasons for it--maybe medical problems, or he had another gf, or maybe he is even gay or something, or simply did not want to have sex with you. Don't worry, it was not your fault, it was his.

It is common after age 32 a mans testosterone level drops if you are not active (like in exercising), but the smell of a women's virgina should of got this guy's attention, time for him to schedule an appointment with his family doctor and test for testosterone level.

this is not normal for men of this age unless he is overweight. adipose tissue (fat) secrets an enzyme calls aromatase which takes testosterone and turns it into estrogen. so the more excess body fat you have as a man, the less testosterone you have (which is the hormone responsible for sex drive in both men and women) and the less sex drive you have.

There are many causes of low sex drive in men. If he is less than forty years old, it maybe more psychological than physical.Irregardless, he can consider trying out chinese herbs.
