I would think people making love is better than a guy's head being decapitated

Your point is valid.....and I agree in principle.....love is better than violence. However, "making love" is a private act and shouldn't be displayed. If it's "acted out", it's not about love anyway, but about sex. But what I'd like to know, what TV channels have you been watching since you say sex isn't allowed? There is an awful lot of sex portrayed on TV. Maybe not hard-core porn, but what is shown leaves little left to the imagination, and since you don't really see the guy's head leaving his body in scenes of violence, either, since the actors do survive intact, I don't see much difference. Neither sex or violence is acceptable in my opinion, but remove that from TV and you've got....oh, yeah, commercials!!!!

Remember, we live in a country where the majority believe in a book that glorifies violence and shames sex.

It's truly insane and should be the other way around.
