so there is a picture of the sun and next to it is a circle that says "atom"...the atom is a little smaller than the sun. and this is the question--

The sun and atom are similar such that, they both have a core. The nucleus of an atom has electrons rotating around it, while the sun has planets revolving around it. They both give off energy.

They are the resemble what they represent because in each case there is a central core (the Sun or the core of the atom) with other bodies (planets or protons and neutrons) in orbit around it.
Differences: The planets' orbits are not circular, they are elliptical. Hope this helps.
