edit to 'hope this helps': what you say is wrong. Over 20 per cent of Israeli ciizens are not Jewish, and anyone is welcome to emigrate to Israel, whatever their religion. I know many non Jews who now live there and have a great time. So please give only accurate information, otherwise it's unfair.

EDIT - Did your parents, like many Palestinian Arabs, leave when the surrounding Arab states told them to, in 1948? They promised everyone they could return, as soon as they'd attacked Israel and 'pushed every last Jew into the sea'. And within 12 hours of Israel declaring independence, five Arab armies DID invade. But Israel held her own. IF - and I am saying if - your family left, thinking they'd go back when the Jews were kicked out, then why should they be allowed back now? ALL of the Palestinian Arabs who chose to remain in Israel in 1948 still live there happily today and they have the same rights etc as everyone else.

I would go live where my forefathers did, in the land of milk and honey. Unfortunately, that land will stay unoccupied, because we are not allowed back to our homeland. In the mean time, I'm sure Israel will Illegally confiscate that land, in the lovely city with olive trees, and grape vines. The land that my ancestors claimed 6 generations ago will be given to European Jews on the mere assumption that they are Gods chosen people, though they cannot claim an area where their ancestors lived in the land, as I can since it was only 60 years ago they had to leave.

***You know non-Jews who emigrate? Well then, it is just Palestinians that can't go back. My parents wish to retire in there homeland since they already own plenty of land. The land is in Palestinian territory. They are not allowed back. How do you figure that? Sounds like ethnic cleansing to me. Get *your* facts straight, mine are from the source.

People who ignorantly say they would live in Israel, are not aware that they will not be allowed to live there. Though America funds the state, Israel only allows Jewish people to emigrate there. It is the law.

Six years ago, I would have chosen Iraq. It was the least "religious" country in the Middle East, including Israel. Osama bin Laden hated Saddam Hussein, because bin Laden felt Hussein was moving Iraq into too secular a direction.

Sure, they had a despot in the Presidential Palace, but it was one who had never harmed ONE American citizen in his country. No other Middle Eastern country can make that claim truthfully.

I'd have to say Israel, it's probably the only country in the Mideast where an American is fairly safe to walk the streets without an armed escort.

Assuming you're asking about Arab states, I would choose UAE, specifically Dubai.
