Whats the perfect tree to plant in Florida landscape area?

Hello! I am from Tampa, Florida - I am trying to find the perfect tree (maybe topiary or ornamental) to plant along side of our house where you can see underneath the tree so the snakes can't hide or are visible if they are there...any suggestions on the best tree to get?

try a loquat tree . I live in Clearwater which is an hour away from you . I used to live in Tampa too . I had a magnolia tree and a loquat tree . they both were very open and you can usually see to the top. good luck .
