I have observed this over a period of years as logic seem remiss in any of their stand points.... Maybe you could explain.

It is not hypocrisy it's policy.

I found this quote of Jeb Bush, but it could be any of the Gang Of Pirates

---"The truth is useless. You have to understand this right now. You can't deposit the truth in a bank. You can't buy groceries with the truth. You can't pay rent with the truth. The truth is a useless commodity that will hang around your neck like an albatross -- all the way to the homeless shelter. And if you think that the million or so people in this country that are really interested in the truth about their government can support people who would tell them the truth, you got another think coming. Because the million or so people in this country that are truly interested in the truth don't have any money."----

The quote is from "Bushwhacked: Inside Stories of True Conspiracy" by Uri Dowbenko New Improved Media Corporation, September 2002, ISBN: 0971004218

I haven't read the book, but it's a helluva quote.

When Folk are that Disingenuous, you cannot expect that what they say reflects any actual reality, or even some fantasy reality they believe in, but only as a method to influence you to act as they intend. Arguing such fluff is beyond silly.

To this question, my critique must be bipartisan. I think not only is hypocrisy endemic and inevitable in right wing political circles, but it is equally so in left wing political circles. I think the political environment in his country is of such a character that a certain amount of hypocrisy is required for you to ascend the political ladder, regardless of what side of the political spectrum one is on.

Our electorate is so evenly split down the middle between conservative and liberal supporters, that any candidate that follows, candidly, the force of his convictions, and seeks only to implement conservative policies or liberal policies, will in effect commit political suicide. In order to succeed in this political environment they must make concessions to the side of the political spectrum, that they do not, in their heart of hearts, support. The result of this complex game of trade offs is hypocrisy and the betrayal of ones constituency.

Hillary or Obama will commit this betrayal for political gain, supposing they get elected to the Presidency, and conservatives will commit it as well. It is a sad fact that if there is one notion where there is bipartisan agreement in this country it is the notion that duplicity is absolute necessary to win elections.

I think the answer lies is changing your words around a bit: hypocrisy IS an integral element of politics..

But those in politics do not think they are hypocritical in any way.

Right wing politics is dominated by a paradigm based on fear, so you cannot expect any kind of natural logic to be present in their arguments or platform. Derived from Original Sin, kill or be killed, there is not enough to go around, and an extraordinary arrogance about who has the "right view," Right Wing politics is extremely cold and violent. They have opposed every movement to help others such as a woman's right to vote or equal rights, Black's right to vote or equal rights, unions, child labor laws, handicapped rights, gay rights, the minimum wage, the right to protest, any anti-war movements, all efforts to extend health care to any but the rich, social security, medicare, medicaid, child heath care, food stamps, unemployment insurance, Head Start and food programs for children, the list goes on and on. As they lobby for no-bid contracts for their friends like Halliburton and weapons manufacturers so they will be guaranteed to make a profit, they oppose the safety net and rights of the rest of us on the grounds that only people of "good character" succeed.
Pushing for violent hegemony in the Middle East and arguing for an Evangelically fascist domination of the American political agenda, Right Wing politics has become morally and ethically bankrupt, no better exemplified than by the now plundering platform of Bush/Cheney. No wonder you find their logic hypocritical.

Is hypocrisy an integral element of LEFT-WING politics?

My answer to that question is "yes."

Of course, speaking as an "independent conservatarian," that door swings both ways, regardless of party affiliation or wing location. Anything involving human beings is going to be imperfect.

You must be mistaken with the Democratic Party. The Left seem to be the epitome of hypocrisy in the last few decades. For example, everyone on the Left seems to jump on the "global warming" bandwagon, and yet, they still take their limos to the grocery store. They still ride in the least fuel-efficient private jets, and still continue to boss the American public into abiding by "better living standards." Logic or fact is never needed in any Left Wing standpoints because the Left have the media at their disposal.

Hypocrisy goes both ways. I'm sorry, but I see most of it from the far left elitists: Do as I say, not as i do.

Nope. That was Democrats you were observing.

Ted Kennedy getting the minority requirement removed from a downtime DC office building he wanted to buy.

Mikey Moore's charity organization barely making the minimum donations to stay as a non-profit.

Michael Moore again having his films edited in Toronto to avoid higher wage US union labor.

Gerry Studds buggering the under age male page.

Barney Frank's boyfriend known as Hot Bottom running a homo prostitution ring out of Frank's home.

Al Gore's house and travel practices creating more greenhouse gasses than a small developing country.

It just goes on and on and on...

No, but your statement is very general...I'll be happy to address a particular topic though. May we have an example of this Hypocrisy?

In their little world they are not hypocritical, they are RIGHT. Everything that would question them is WRONG.
