2(y-2) = 2(x+3)
2y - 4 = 2x + 6
2y = 2x + 10
y = x + 5

this is the equation of a straight line, not a parabola

The axis of symmetry divides the parabola in half and passes thru the vertex. The equation of the parabola is:

2(y - 2) = (x + 3)²

The parabola is vertical so the axis of symmetry is a vertical line thru the vertex. Its equation is:

x = -3

None of the answers above are correct.
