They'll keep their heads in the sand until their city goes up in smoke.

If they ever release any information, and it was discovered that the US used thumbscrews to get it, the news media will be right there to tell the world how inhumane we are.
One person mentioned beefing up security here in the US. Well, there's nothing like waiting until the last minute.
If half the crap that is exposed in the news media about how our troops, etc. treat prisoners, was done the same way during the Korean War, most of the guys that went over there would have been in Leavenworth after a military tribunal told them they were "inhumane" and should be imprisoned for life.
Most sane people would like to head it off at the pass.

The USA is at war with itself.
I will explain:
The actions in our government over the past 3+ decades is what created Al Qaeda (we created them to fight Russia), caused the Islamic-Christian divide (we should have embraced them as a ppl in the 70s) and made the world feel threatened (by ending the cold war then removing our membership in the nuclear treaties).
Until we realize that we have played a part in why these ppl hate us, this 'terrorism' is only going to get worse.

Maybe more people will realize it when our country switches to a war mode:
Ending the tax cuts for the rich
No more no bid contracts
Corporations that will help the most with the war effort won't have their CEO's get billions of dollars, no buddy, they'll get nationalized instead
If we're at war, then maybe our executive branch needs to act like it.

Probably the next time something big like 9/11 comes down, so to speak.
Then a couple of years after that they'll forget. Besides, we'll all be too busy studying Spanish as a Second Language anyway.

Most who don't realize the muslim jihad is real won't be convinced until they're a wisp of carbon monoxide gas in a mushroom cloud.
And those who condemn all religions equally probably can't name any Christian terrorist organizations who saw people's heads off with a rusty knife while chanting to allah.

So why are we in Iraq instead of beefing up security here. Thousands of cargo containers come in everyday that could contain nuclear weapons. Too bad Bush blew all the money securing oil. When are you going to realize Bush could care less about terrorism or protecting this country and you are being sold a bill of goods.

When they are praying five time a day in the direction of Mecca....when woman are stoned for showing a glimpse of their arm...when teachers are shot for trying to teach females....When the burka replaces baseball caps and the Quran replaces the Bible....
And then it will be too late....

Really? I thought we were still at war with drugs?
That's what Ronnie Reagan told me 23 years ago.
