No avon sell some really nice products,if the person you are buying for likes the products whats the problem,they will be chuffed,its not as though you are getting them free of charge.

No, not if you think the person would like it. Many people use Avon products and when giving gifts it's the thought that counts.

Not at all. I give Mary Kay to most of the people on my gift list and I sell it. I think the important thing is getting them something that you think they would like or makes you think of them not what you spend.
My most popular selling items are between $10 and $15
