No one knows (yet).
Life on other planets (before Earth or now) is certainly possible. Statistically (given the number of planets we have found so far, it appears that planets are common around most stars in our galaxy), life is very possible.
But we haven't found life on any other world yet - there are hints that there is water on Mars and Europa and there is proof of a liquid methane environment on Titan.
But life, surviving or extinct, hasn't been found (yet).

in diverse billion years, the solar will exchange right into a crimson widespread. at that component, the solar will develop in length and engulf the earth. at that component, the human race would have stepped forward the technologies to commute to a various image voltaic gadget. At that component, the human race could have stepped forward a fashion of existence that is secure on a sparkling planet. interior the fast term, however if Al Gore is ideal, the human race heavily isn't exterminated, it will be decreased to a plenty smaller team, who would have a 2d threat. The human race has confronted extinction previously, approximately 70,000 years in the past some thing befell that decreased our inhabitants to approximately 2,000 persons and we survived. Earth has confronted distinctive extinctions and has by no potential misplaced the potential to maintain a type of existence and that i doubt it ever will. to verify that us to exist on yet another planet, we can the two could stay in a self contained habitat, or commute to a various image voltaic gadget because of the fact not one of the different planets in our image voltaic gadget can help existence and can in all threat be impossible to alter. If we discover ways to commute the enormous distances between image voltaic structures, then i'm hoping we would have discover ways to stay a purifier existence.

Odds are there has to be. Given how many galaxies and planets already discovered, life is surely to have evolved somewhere else. It may not have been humanoid, but certainly any life would have been possible. To think we are the only intelligent life is just straight up arrogance.

Who can say? But, given that the Universe is 14 billion years old, and the Earth is only 4 billion years old, I'd say the chances are pretty good.

There might very well be past or existant life on Mars or Europa (one of the moons of Jupiter), but we don't know for sure at this point.

We don't know for sure. As large and as old as the universe is, it's hard for me to believe that there hasn't been or isn't life in some form somewhere else.

Much of the Universe is very much older than our solar system so the possibility is there. It is a very intriguing question and one i dare say will not be answered in my lifetime. Mores the pity...
