Depends on where you buy it but it's really easy. I can't imagine anyone not being able to do it. There are two hoses on the back of the washer and two faucets in the laundry area of your home. The hot water hose screws onto the hot water faucet and the cold water hose screws onto the cold water faucet. Then you plug it into the electric outlet and you're ready to go.

Run a small empty load in cold water and check it to make sure it's really cold water. Sometimes you might get them hooked up backwards and it's better to find out before you're washing clothes. But it really couldn't be easier.

You can have them install it, but you have to ask when you buy it and they will charge you a fee
It took my husband less than a minute to connect ours up so it cant be difficult

Nope.
(Installing a washing machine is very simple though)
Depending where you buy it, they will charge you extra to have it delivered and installed.

No. No one installs washers. All you do is plug them in. Now if you get it someplace like Lowes or Home Depot, for a price, they can deliver it and hook it up. But why pay someone to plug a plug in a wall?

You dont need them to install it for you! Its easy!
They will charge you through the nose for it if they install,
All you have to do is hook the water pipes up, make sure they are tight, and then push it into the corner or where ever it is going.

Depends where you go. I bought mine from a local independent retailer and despite being cosmetically damaged and cheap I still got installation free, but my mum bought hers from a big chain store (I forget which one) and had to pay £30.

Usually no. Some one has started advertising this as a major consumer breakthrough. Currys, Dixons or Comet maybe?
