The current frontrunners for the two major party nominations in the 2008 Presidential election are both from New York State (Giuliani and Clinton). Perot does not count because I said persons nominated by the two major parties. I am not sure which of the other two answers is correct. I found a few sources that mention Dewey and FDR being the 1944 candidates and both being NY governors. However, the source for the Ohio answer is pretty clear. Either it's wrong or a lot of other sources are...
