Because the ignorant and naive always want to place the blame on someone like him. Like when the Columbine shootings happened, they accused Manson.
I read this celebrity gossip blog, and the writer is all up in arms about Manson now because he bought some swastika tiles or some crap. So now she's saying he's a Nazi. Which is b.s.
The guy just wants to embody all the things that society hates.

People just want someone to blame. He looks different, so therefore he must be "bad". It's stupid really, if you ever get a chance to read/hear what he says, he's actually a pretty "together" guy. He does what he wants to, says things that other people are afraid to say. When the Columbine shootings happened, people were looking for a "Why?" and the fact that those boys listened to his music seemed like an easy way to push the blame off of anyone else. If you've ever watched the movie Bowling for Columbine, he talks specifically about that and it's really something to hear what he says. I don't have problems with someone who believes something different than I do, but most people do. No one really gives him a chance....it's sad how judgmental people can be nowadays.

Well some people think that he is the Anti-Christ which i think is bs because hes a good singer and his music is so different and unique. Plus, could be the way that he dresses with the whole Gothic look and such. But u know its all a statement i hate it when people judge just because other people are different. It really pisses me off.

Partly because he looks different but he's hated because people are afraid of him. Anyone that dares to speak their mind and go against the majority is often treated this way. I really like his music but I'm uneasy about the Nazi crap.
