Are people who are rude and mean on the net like this because they are or were bullied at school and are too scared to stand up to the bullies or did they just not get enough hugs as a child?I would feel sorry for them if they didn't annoy me so much.

I am on here a lot, and it just amazes me how rude some of these people are.
I think heir mommy or daddy or whoever took care of them, just didn't hug them enough.

It depends on the person, some people just don't know how to answer questions with class. People don't realize that you can be truthful and honest without being mean. Report the really nasty answers and they'll get suspended. Now if it's a person telling the honest truth and you get upset about it, that fault lies with you and you're the one that needs a personality change. Report the people who really deserve it and violate community guidelines.

People are jerks for a variety of reasons too numerous to mention here. I never mean to be rude, but I do give humorous answers sometimes if the mood hits me. I also give sarcastic answers to questions I think are really stupid. Anyone who reads this: Forgive me if you think I've been rude.

Probably a combination of all of the above. As far as Carolyn's and Preppy's comments go, well consider the source. When their time comes, they will be buried in a matchbox, because, once the mortician administers the enema, it will make the perfect sized coffin.

misery loves company and when they are hurting they lash out at bystanders instead of confronting the person they have the issue with.
and I agree it may have a lot to do with there unhappy childhood.

There is the distance and anonymity factor that makes them unafraid to call them like they see them. As far as the rudeness is concerned, who knows what makes a jerk act like a jerk!

i think that there ae many reasons to this...but it is very wrong. it is pointless to make people feel bad about themselves because it hurts and it makes u look bad
