It's like everywhere I look, mostly Yahoo!Answers, I find some stupid, ignorant person. Either they are uneducated or discriminant. This world is so full of hate and ignorance. It just makes me so mad to see this awfully rude and arrogant question or answer that is so offensive and untrue. Other than reporting it, I know there's nothing I can do, but I just wish there were some way to get some knowledge and open-mindedness into these people. Does anyone else feel this way?

Sure it bothers me.The world is indeed jammed w/ ignorance.But you're right-there's nothing we can really do about it.
We're dealing w/ such a vast melting pot here on Yahoo!Answers that it's good to see the majority of people aren't stupid & have intelligent, valid suggestions & life experiences to share w/ everyone else.
The rest...well, they are entitled to their close-minded opinions.It makes the majority shine in comparison & actually makes me quite thankful for the fact that I do think outside the box.
Just remember, some people don't even know any better & it's very sad that they can't see it from different views like you & I.Try to feel empathy & compassion for them, instead of anger.Ignorant people used to really be intolarable to me but I had to let that go.You can't do much about it; just be thankful & go on :-D

i feel the same way you do because with the world going on and all the violence in it and bush it's doing anything to help things better all he is doing is visiting yea that's something but he keeps sending them back and fourth and then he just always says that things will get better but he is wrong things always get worst and that is just plan out ignorant and pointless why would you send them to a place then send them back and fourth to a place i just don't think that is so smart and people keep talking about tech i know its a bad time to go through but they don't need to be showing it over and over again its hard to hear that your child or love one is gone and you really cant get over the fact that there gone that's ignorce and just wrong i don't get it that they show it all the time day after day how people have to go through that and listen to it that's how i feel about people being ignorant and arrogant

yes, i completely agree. we were talking about war and stuff in history class, and it made me soo upset, saying about how badly some people were getting treated on account of race, religion, hate, and just plain stupidity. i wish it would just stop, we need to see that we will end up killing ourselves if we don't realize we all just need to either get along or leave each other alone,being rude and ignorant to each other will not help us out at all. also we really need to take way better care of our earth, but then u will get me started on something else, and............well, let's just say u are so not alone; email me if u want to disuss any of this further, cuz i am so here to help out as much as i know how. never kno, maybe we can join a group or something. : ) (just a thought) ;)

I agree with you to a point. The world IS full of hate and ignorance but we're all entitled to our opinions. If everyone felt the same as the next person, it would be terribly boring. But I don't like it when people start blasting away at a group of people because of one bad experience they had with a person from that particular group (like gay people, black people, fat people, etc.).

You got my vote and support all the way. BUT there really isn't much one can do. I do think that there are some of these people you speak of that do it just to see how many feathers they can ruffle so to say.
