its either Montreal or Ottawa. yes we do have rivalry with NJ but its not as intense as it is with the other two teams. as a Leafs fan, for soem reason i think the rivalry with Motreal is a bit more sizzling then it is with Sens. although, now it seems to be heating up with the sens.

Currently the Senators
TV Ratings for Leafs/Sens games have risen steadily since the Lefas moved to the Eastern Conference while the ratings have fallen for Leafs-Canadiens game. The same is true of ticket sales, the 4 Sens games at the ACC sold out before the first Canadiens game the last 2 years.

When the Senators were in the NHL the first time around, they were Toronto's biggest rival.

The Leafs-Canadiens rivalry didn't really begin until the mid-40s

For Torontonians it's Ottawa, but people in Ottawa really don't care anymore since we cream the Leafs everytime so it's not much of a rivalry.

Their biggest rival is MLSE. Just kidding. It should be the Ottawa Senators since the leafs lost twice to them already.
